PSY 2100 Introduction to Counseling: APA Style

About APA

The American Psychological Association (APA) provides guidelines for writing and publishing in the area of social and behavioral sciences.  The print manual contains the rules for  the structure and content of papers/books, layout and grammar guidelines as well as the use of statistics in the text.  Examples are given for creating a reference list from a wide variety of print and non-print resources.  This research guide will provide a few of the most commonly used resources, however one should consult the style manual when in doubt. Choose the format you need from the dropdown tab above.
