BUS 4830 Applied Research: Home

For this class you will need to locate scholarly research articles on a business topic.  These articles will need to have been published within the last 5 years.

Three databases have been suggested because they will have a great deal of research articles, Business Source Premier, PsycINFO, and Sage Journals.  The use of searching limiters will help you locate articles that meet the other criteria.

A DOI (digital object identifier) is a unique alphanumeric string  that identifies a specific article and provides a persistent link to its location on the Internet.

When DOIs are available include them in your citation.  DOIs can be available for both print and electronic sources. The DOI is typically located on the first page of the journal article, near the copyright notice or in the bibliographic record in the database.
