For this assignment, students will find TWO peer-reviewed, research studies investigating the same topic of development (peer relationships, intelligence, temperament/personality, cognitive ability, etc.—you choose!): one that uses a cross-sectional design (comparing age groups) and one that uses a longitudinal design (following the same people over time).
The paper should be structured clearly, with an introductory statement/paragraph, a main text body, and a concluding statement/paragraph. The paper should be 3 pages long and follow APA format. Students will come to class on the date due ready present their findings to the class in a brief overview 3-5 minutes long.
