If you find an article that isn't full-text (in a bibliography or abstract only database), here are a few options.
Use the Morgan Library Interlibrary Loan form to request materials not owned by our library.
Please allow 7-10 days for books to arrive. Journal articles usually take less time. We will forward articles to you electronically, but if you can't come to Morgan Library to pick up a book, we recommend you request it from a local library.
Indiana residents are welcome to visit and borrow circulating books from academic libraries across Indiana.
For libraries in the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI), present your Grace ID to check out materials.
For libraries in Academic Libraries of Indiana (ALI), follow these steps:
1) Fill out the reciprocal borrowing application
2) Send the completed form to library@grace.edu and await response
3) Present your Grace ID, a photo ID with your current address, and the ALI Borrower's Card to check out materials.
Any questions? Email library@grace.edu.
Many college and university libraries will make provisions for local/guest users to borrow books, either for free or for a yearly fee. They may own some of the books you would like to use. Public libraries usually have an interlibrary loan system whereby they allow you to request a book you need. They will get it from another library and they will notify you to come pick it up when it arrives. Search the WorldCat database (search box below) to see if a library near you has the book you want. The results page will show the nearest library owning that book.
The Morgan Library is part of reciprocal borrowing programs among seminaries and Christian college and university libraries. These libraries have agreed to allow students from cooperating institutions to borrow books for free. We participate in two different programs, ATLA (American Theological Library Association) and ACL (Association of Christian Librarians). Procedures for each are slightly different. Use the links below to locate a library near you.
