This Research guide introduces library resources that are helpful for research.

Research

What is Research?

A systematic process of critical inquiry leading to valid propositions and conclusions that are communicated to interested others.

Why Research? What are the Benefits?

To learn something, to gain a wider perspective on an issue, to develop new ideas, for personal & professional development.

Inquiry Topic Group Poster

Your groups will choose a complex problem related to your inquiry topic. Students will collaboratively define, research, and support an examination of the problem, synthesize their findings, and prepare a poster presentation.

The group will prepare a well-organized and visually-pleasing poster that effectively communicates their research through text and graphics to an audience of first-year students at Grace College.
