FYE 1000 - First-Year Experience: Books, Ebooks, Articles

This Research guide introduces library resources that are helpful for research.

Getting Started

The Morgan Library LancerQuest Search is the library's response to Google. Enter your search terms in the search box and click "Search".

Don't get overwhelmed by the large number of results. Use the limiters listed to the left of the results.

  • You can limit to peer-reviewed articles, books, newspaper articles, etc.
  • Other limiter options include: date, author, subjects, databases.

You will also want to combine terms to get focused results, i.e.

tolerant and "generation y"

pressure and "college students"

"culturally aware" and millennials

Using quotation marks around two or more words searches them as a phrase giving you better results.
