Transition to Teaching : Access to Resources from Off Campus

Interlibrary Loan Form

Use the Morgan Library Interlibrary Loan form to request materials not owned by our library.

Please allow 7-10 days for books to arrive.  Journal articles usually take less time.  We will forward articles to you electronically, but if you can't come to Morgan Library to pick up a book, we recommend you request it from a local library.

What if the article isn't full-text?

If you find an article that isn't full-text (in a bibliography or abstract only database), here are a few options.

  1. Check if the journal is full-text in one of our other databases: Is this Journal Full Text?
  2. Check if the article is full-text on Google Scholar using quotation marks around the title.
  3. Request the article through Interlibrary Loan and we will email it to you.

Access to Local Libraries

Many college and university libraries will make provisions for local/guest users to borrow books, either for free or for a yearly fee.  They may own some of the books you would like to use.  Public libraries usually have an interlibrary loan system whereby they allow you to request a book you need.  They will get it from another library and they will notify you to come pick it up when it arrives.  Search the WorldCat database (search box below) to see if a library near you has the book you want.  The results page will show the nearest library owning that book.

ACL LogoThe Morgan Library is part of reciprocal borrowing programs among seminaries and Christian college and university libraries.  These libraries have agreed to allow students from cooperating institutions to borrow books for free.

See the procedures for accessing ACL (Association of Christian Librarians) Libraries:
