Information Literacy - or learning to do research: a life time skill: Locating Books

Books can provide background or historical information on a topic, research, and a wide view of a topic.  You may not find the most current information as the writing and publishing process does take some time.  But the content will be thorough. You may also not want all the information contained in a book.  It may be helpful to just read a chapter or section as that is all the information that will apply to your topic.

LancerQuest is the best resource for access books in both print and electronic formats.

Search LancerQuest for a book on your topic.  Use the limiters on the left of the results screen to limit to books, change the date or use the other subjects to focus the search.

You may want to also limit to ebooks so you can access the book from off-campus.
