Deploy: Journal Articles

Instructions for Seminary Library research.

What if the article isn't full-text?

If you find an article that isn't full-text (in a bibliography or abstract only database), here are a few options.

  1. Check if the journal is full-text in one of our other databases: Is this Journal Full Text?
  2. Check if the article is full-text on Google Scholar using quotation marks around the title.
  3. Request the article through Interlibrary Loan and we will email it to you.

What if a link doesn't work?

What if the link I saved to the article doesn't work?

If you saved a persistent link, or the link you have in Zotero isn't working, try adding this Proxy-Prefix to the front of your persistent link.

Here's the Proxy Prefixhttps:heinz.grace.edu/login?url=

and here's how you add it to your persistent link, which looks like this:

http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=100884242&site=ehost-live

Here's what your link should look like:

https:heinz.grace.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=100884242&site=ehost-live
